Battery change is definitely something you need to consider when looking to purchase an ROV as some require you to open the enclosure, something you don’t want to be doing out in the field in wet, dirty environments. Thankfully, changing the batteries in the M2 Pro is simple, with retaining knobs and clips meaning there is no threat of flooding the ROV.
The stock battery is good for approximately 2.5 hours, and an optional larger battery has approximately 5 hours of battery life.
