Small boats can be tough to work off, and our gear often takes the brunt of any missteps, trips or rough weather. We designed this connector cage to bolt over the slip ring and remove the need for the protruding right angled connector.
It can be installed with a cable gland (pictured) for permanent attachment of the extension cable, or with a Binder bulkhead connector to disconnect. This one can be 3D printed (shown in image, sealed with Smooth On XTC 3D), but there is a variation that can be machined. Get in touch if you'd like the free STL file to give it a try!
