Feature requests from customers are great, until they exceed the space we have!!! Faced with adding more and more features to a compact and already congested camera housing, we took some time to design a new accessory board. The board has breakout terminals for an Arduino Nano, as well as an RS485 chip, allowing us to dim lights or monitor battery voltages over serial. We also have a 5v regulator and mosfet to allow remote switching of low power devices like laser scalers.
These new boards will replace the alternative solution of 3 or 4 boards cobbled together, reducing assembly time, and extending the capabilities of our Orpheus cameras, without having to resize the housings. Shoutout to valued staff member Zac for designing this
